According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 847,918 total arrests made in the US for other assaults offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (521.97K), followed by Black or African American (288.60K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (17.73K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 741,036 (87%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (571.90K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (169.14K).
