According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, among Illinois cities with a population of at least 10K, Harvey had the highest Motor Vehicle Theft Crime Rate per 100K residents (1,297.76), followed by Chicago Heights (1,183.8), Blue Island (1,175.97), Hazel Crest (1,151.33), and Chicago (1,006.81).
