According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 85,419 juvenile arrests made in the US for all other offenses except traffic offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (53.79K), followed by Black or African American (28.43K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (1.88K).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 69,688 (82%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (52.91K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (16.77K).
