According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 71,098 adult arrests made in the US for fraud offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (42.67K), followed by Black or African American (25.90K), and Asian (1.34K).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 61,863 (87%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (50.97K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (10.89K).
