US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Embezzlement Offenses in 2020

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 6,592 total arrests made in the US for embezzlement offenses. There were 5,322 total arrests made in All Cities; 979 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 291 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 2,275 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.

In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group IV - Cities had the highest (3.7), followed by Group III - Cities (3.5), and Group I - Cities (3.4).

  5. Group V - Cities: Cities with a population of 10,000 to 24,999.
  6. Group VI - Cities: Cities with a population under 10,000.
