According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 6,490 total arrests made in the US for embezzlement offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (3.94K), followed by Black or African American (2.35K), and Asian (115).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 5,562 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (4.73K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (828).
