According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 6,196 adult arrests made in the US for embezzlement offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (3.81K), followed by Black or African American (2.21K), and Asian (96).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 5,316 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (4.52K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (795).
