According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 7,609 total arrests made in the US for embezzlement offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (4.48K), followed by Black or African American (2.93K), and Asian (110).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 6,418 (84%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (5.46K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (957).
