According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 16,637 adult arrests made in US cities for forgery and counterfeiting offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (11.47K), followed by Black or African American (4.67K), and Asian (289).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 14,763 (89%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (12.29K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (2.48K).
