According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 14,020 total arrests made in US metropolitan counties for drunkenness offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (11.67K), followed by Black or African American (2.02K), and Asian (180).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 13,516 (96%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (9.43K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (4.08K).
