According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 74,302 adult arrests made in US suburban areas for aggravated assault offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (52.59K), followed by Black or African American (19.75K), and Asian (1.09K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 65,964 (89%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (49.53K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (16.44K).
