According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, there were 228,504 total arrests made in US suburban areas for driving under the influence offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (187.36K), followed by Black or African American (35.07K), and Asian (3.81K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 197,728 (87%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (140.60K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (57.12K).
