US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for All Other Offenses Except Traffic Offenses in 2022
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 1,985,747 total arrests made in the US for all other offenses except traffic offenses. There were 1,347,617 total arrests made in All Cities; 428,360 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 209,770 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 796,261 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group VI - Cities had the highest (1,401), followed by Nonmetropolitan Counties (956.6), and Group V - Cities (861.5).
