US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for All Other Offenses Except Traffic Offenses in 2024
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 2,218,571 total arrests made in the US for all other offenses except traffic offenses. There were 1,545,635 total arrests made in All Cities; 456,800 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 216,136 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 877,394 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group VI - Cities had the highest (1,366.7), followed by Nonmetropolitan Counties (930.9), and Group V - Cities (810.8).
