US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Drug Abuse Violations Offenses in 2022
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 726,746 total arrests made in the US for drug abuse violations offenses. There were 496,019 total arrests made in All Cities; 152,392 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 78,335 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 292,404 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group VI - Cities had the highest (494.6), followed by Nonmetropolitan Counties (357.2), and Group V - Cities (306.1).
