US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Liquor Laws Offenses in 2022

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 76,369 total arrests made in the US for liquor laws offenses. There were 58,516 total arrests made in All Cities; 9,986 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 7,867 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 29,271 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.

In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group VI - Cities had the highest (105.5), followed by Group V - Cities (44.9), and Nonmetropolitan Counties (35.9).

  5. Group V - Cities: Cities with a population of 10,000 to 24,999.
  6. Group VI - Cities: Cities with a population under 10,000.
