US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Sex Offenses Except Rape And Prostitution Offenses in 2022
According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 19,821 total arrests made in the US for sex offenses except rape and prostitution offenses. There were 13,817 total arrests made in All Cities; 4,534 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 1,470 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 7,926 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.
In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group VI - Cities had the highest (8.8), followed by Group I - Cities (8.1), and Group II - Cities (7.9).
