According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 12,168 adult arrests made in US cities for drunkenness offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (10.55K), followed by Black or African American (1.32K), and Asian (202).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 12,101 (99%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (6.82K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (5.28K).
