According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 9,214 adult arrests made in US cities for rape offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (5.95K), followed by Black or African American (2.83K), and Asian (222).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 7,864 (85%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (5.31K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (2.56K).
