According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 40,401 total arrests made in US cities for robbery offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as Black or African American (21.53K), followed by White (17.67K), and American Indian or Alaska Native (499).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 35,133 (87%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (26.10K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (9.03K).
