According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, there were 11,258 adult arrests made in US metropolitan counties for fraud offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (7.51K), followed by Black or African American (3.55K), and Asian (136).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 9,902 (88%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (8.36K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (1.54K).
