According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 425,559 adult arrests made in US cities for driving under the influence offenses.

By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (336.10K), followed by Black or African American (67.75K), and Asian (10.54K).

By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 370,385 (87%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (236.29K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (134.10K).
