According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 4,603 juvenile arrests made in US nonmetropolitan counties for all other offenses except traffic offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (3.59K), followed by Black or African American (796), and American Indian or Alaska Native (132).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 3,725 (81%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (3.28K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (446).
