According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, there were 28,634 adult arrests made in US suburban areas for fraud offenses.
By Race: The highest number of those arrested were identified as White (17.35K), followed by Black or African American (10.63K), and Asian (430).
By Ethnicity: Ethnicity information was reported for 24,543 (86%) of those arrested. Among those for whom ethnicity was reported, the highest number were identified as Not Hispanic or Latino (20.89K), followed by Hispanic or Latino (3.66K).
