US Number of Total Arrests By Population Group for Fraud Offenses in 2024

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, there were 75,287 total arrests made in the US for fraud offenses. There were 58,399 total arrests made in All Cities; 13,187 total arrests made in Metropolitan Counties; 3,701 total arrests made in Nonmetropolitan Counties; and 33,654 total arrests made in Suburban Areas.

In terms of rate of arrests per 100K inhabitants, Group VI - Cities had the highest (53.2), followed by Group IV - Cities (30.4), and Group III - Cities (29.8).

  5. Group V - Cities: Cities with a population of 10,000 to 24,999.
  6. Group VI - Cities: Cities with a population under 10,000.
