Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2010, the Arkansas citizen population was 2.79M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen population (2.15M) and constituted 77.34% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen population (442.27K) and constituted 15.88% of the total.
