Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2020, the Arkansas citizen population was 2.91M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen population (2.17M) and constituted 74.36% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen population (454.91K) and constituted 15.61% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the third highest (166.25K), constituting 5.71% of the total citizen population.
