Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2010, the citizen voting-age population for South Carolina was 3,312,715 and represented 73.43% of the total South Carolina population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Greenville had the highest citizen voting-age population (308.71K), followed by Richland (275.27K), and Charleston (257.86K).

In terms of percentages, McCormick had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (84.13%), followed by Union (76.75%), and Oconee (76.68%).
