Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the citizen voting-age population for South Carolina was 3,939,065 and represented 75.57% of the total South Carolina population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Greenville had the highest citizen voting-age population (389.85K), followed by Charleston (319.75K), and Richland (316.04K).

In terms of percentages, McCormick had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (89.49%), followed by Georgetown (81.52%), and Fairfield (81.44%).
