US Citizen Voting-age Population By State in 2023 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2023, the US citizen voting-age population was 238,741,215 and represented 71.83% of the total US population.

Among all US states and DC, California had the highest citizen voting-age population (26.04M), followed by Texas (19.47M), and Florida (15.87M).

In terms of percentages, Vermont had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (80.31%), followed by Maine (80.17%), and New Hampshire (79.22%).
