US Citizen Voting-age Population By State in 2020 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2020, the US citizen voting-age population was 233,440,760 and represented 71.48% of the total US population.

Among all US states and DC, California had the highest citizen voting-age population (25.78M), followed by Texas (18.58M), and Florida (15.30M).

In terms of percentages, Maine had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (79.85%), followed by Vermont (79.67%), and West Virginia (79.04%).
