US Citizen Voting-age Population By State in 2022 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the US citizen voting-age population was 238,133,935 and represented 71.92% of the total US population.

Among all US states and DC, California had the highest citizen voting-age population (26.08M), followed by Texas (19.16M), and Florida (15.70M).

In terms of percentages, Vermont had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (80.27%), followed by Maine (80.17%), and West Virginia (79.27%).
