US Citizen Voting-age Population By State in 2021 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2021, the US citizen voting-age population was 235,667,240 and represented 71.47% of the total US population.

Among all US states and DC, California had the highest citizen voting-age population (25.92M), followed by Texas (18.73M), and Florida (15.39M).

In terms of percentages, Vermont had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (79.81%), followed by Maine (79.79%), and West Virginia (78.96%).
