US Citizen Voting-age Population By State in 2024 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2024, the US citizen voting-age population was 240,833,679 and represented 71.91% of the total US population.

Among all US states and DC, California had the highest citizen voting-age population (26.13M), followed by Texas (19.87M), and Florida (16.18M).

In terms of percentages, Vermont had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (80.64%), followed by Maine (80.28%), and New Hampshire (79.55%).
