Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2010, the Louisiana citizen voting-age population was 3.24M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (2.11M) and constituted 65.15% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (976.14K) and constituted 30.12% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the third highest (76.95K), constituting 2.37% of the total citizen voting-age population.
