Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the citizen population for Arizona was 5,754,585 and represented 90.80% of the total Arizona population.

Among all Arizona counties, Maricopa had the highest citizen population (3.39M), followed by Pima (898.19K), and Pinal (326.46K).
