Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the citizen population for Florida was 16,821,315 and represented 90.01% of the total Florida population.

Among all Florida counties, Miami-Dade had the highest citizen population (1.84M), followed by Broward (1.47M), and Palm Beach (1.15M).

In terms of percentages, Baker had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.59%), followed by Wakulla (99.52%), and Dixie (99.08%).
