Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Colorado was 1,234,325 and represented 26.56% of the total Colorado citizen population.

Among all Colorado counties, Denver had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (55.18K), followed by Arapahoe (49.31K), and El Paso (33.25K).

In terms of percentages, Denver had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (10.57%), followed by Arapahoe (9.69%), and Crowley (8.97%).
