Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the citizen voting-age population for South Carolina was 3,367,235 and represented 73.59% of the total South Carolina population.

Among all South Carolina counties, Greenville had the highest citizen voting-age population (315.37K), followed by Richland (280.14K), and Charleston (262.65K).

In terms of percentages, McCormick had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (84.77%), followed by Pickens (76.93%), and Marlboro (76.84%).
