The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (2.08M) and constituted 41.48% of the total.

The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (1.21M) and constituted 24.08% of the total.
