Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2011, the Louisiana citizen voting-age population was 3.28M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (2.12M) and constituted 64.69% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (998.34K) and constituted 30.40% of the total. The Hispanic or Latino of All Races ethnicity group had the third highest (81.46K), constituting 2.48% of the total citizen voting-age population.
