Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the citizen population for Wyoming was 551,000 and represented 97.90% of the total Wyoming population.

Among all Wyoming counties, Laramie had the highest citizen population (90.56K), followed by Natrona (74.98K), and Campbell (44.70K).

In terms of percentages, Niobrara had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (99.80%), followed by Crook (99.72%), and Platte (99.71%).
