Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Alabama was 902,495 and represented 25.46% of the total Alabama citizen voting-age population.

Among all Alabama counties, Jefferson had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (199.83K), followed by Mobile (99.58K), and Montgomery (89.44K).

In terms of percentages, Macon had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (81.86%), followed by Greene (79.23%), and Lowndes (72.30%).
