Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2012, the Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen voting-age population for North Carolina was 2,518,805 and represented 36.90% of the total North Carolina citizen voting-age population.

Among all North Carolina counties, Wake had the highest Non-Hispanic White Alone citizen voting-age population (427.52K), followed by Mecklenburg (366.27K), and Guilford (214.15K).

In terms of percentages, Ashe had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic White Alone (98.12%), followed by Clay (97.64%), and Yancey (97.26%).
