Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2014, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Iowa was 925,430 and represented 40.70% of the total Iowa citizen voting-age population.

Among all Iowa counties, Polk had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (15.72K), followed by Scott (8.01K), and Black Hawk (7.79K).

In terms of percentages, Black Hawk had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (7.76%), followed by Scott (6.39%), and Polk (5.03%).
