Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population for Iowa was 998,375 and represented 42.14% of the total Iowa citizen voting-age population.

Among all Iowa counties, Polk had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (19.35K), followed by Scott (7.98K), and Black Hawk (7.80K).

In terms of percentages, Black Hawk had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (7.89%), followed by Scott (6.13%), and Polk (5.52%).
