Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2022, the US Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone citizen voting-age population was 29,557,590 and represented 12.41% of the total US citizen voting-age population.

Among all US states and DC, Texas had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen voting-age population (2.50M), followed by Georgia (2.47M), and Florida (2.26M).

In terms of percentages, District of Columbia had the highest percentage of its citizen voting-age population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (44.18%), followed by Mississippi (36.50%), and Georgia (32.15%).
