California Citizen Population By County in 2015 (ACS-5Yrs)

Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the citizen population for California was 33,074,020 and represented 86.08% of the total California population.

Among all California counties, Los Angeles had the highest citizen population (8.26M), followed by San Diego (2.84M), and Orange (2.65M).

In terms of percentages, Alpine had the highest percentage of its population being citizens (98.67%), followed by Sierra (97.85%), and Tuolumne (97.77%).
