Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the citizen population for Florida was 17,813,580 and represented 90.67% of the total Florida population.

Among all Florida counties, Miami-Dade had the highest citizen population (2.02M), followed by Broward (1.58M), and Palm Beach (1.22M).
