Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2015, the Maryland citizen voting-age population was 4.18M. The Non-Hispanic White Alone ethnicity group had the highest citizen voting-age population (2.50M) and constituted 59.86% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Black or African American Alone ethnicity group had the second highest citizen voting-age population (1.23M) and constituted 29.34% of the total. The Non-Hispanic Asian Alone ethnicity group had the third highest (190.22K), constituting 4.55% of the total citizen voting-age population.
